The Foundation Unit for students in Years 7, 8 and 9 is structured over a three year period, with students exposed to a wide variety of problem solving activities. Projects are designed to ensure that students gain a thorough knowledge of safe working practices, materials, processes, mechanisms and electronics. Design Technique, Graphics and Information Technology skills are developed throughout the course.
