School Productions are held every two years. Productions involve many students acting, singing, playing in the orchestra, front of house, backstage, costuming, make-up and every other facet of theatrical life. The level of professionalism of this event is a source of great pride for the whole School community.
In 2013, Townsville Grammar School presented The Servant of Two Masters, a comedy by Venetian playwright, Carlo Goldoni.
Middle School Production
Students across Years 7, 8 and 9 were recently involved in the Middle School Drama Concert.
Lots of hard work and rehearsals ensured that three polished productions were enjoyed by audiences. Monty Python’s Spamalot, Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Roald Dahl’s Matilda were all vividly brought to life with relatively few
props. Students are to be congratulated for the dedication and hard work displayed in the lead up to this event.
