About TryBooking
Townsville Grammar School uses TryBooking for its event ticketing system.
The School will be using TryBooking for free events (absolute no charge to parents/the School for using TryBooking) and paid events such as Black & Gold Ball, Reunions etc. For paid events the system charges 30 cents per booking to the purchaser of the ticket (this is not applicable for free events).
TryBooking is easy to use and allows parents and the School community to order and pay for your tickets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will instantly receive your tickets and receipt via email.
How secure is TryBooking?
TryBooking is uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which is industry standard (used by large online shops such as the Apple Store), to ensure that your credit card details remain safe. The site is signed by Verisign, one of the world's most trusted providers of secure websites.

TryBooking is very respectful of the privacy of all users on its Site.
Any personal information that may be used by the TryBooking Site in order to carry out its necessary functions is stored on a physically separate computer that is protected by Firewalls. The data itself is also encrypted to further reduce any risk that your information will be obtained and used by unauthorised access. We do not store your full credit card number, only the four digits is kept and this is to show you which card you have used to make the booking.
Of course, given the increasing sophistication of computer hackers, there are no absolute guarantees that our systems will never be accessed without our consent, or that our systems are impenetrable. However, you can assured that we take all reasonable measures to ensure the security of your personal information and the bookings you have made. |
