The reunion dinner venue is the Mercure Inn Townsville. If you choose to stay at the Mercure Inn, Townsville Grammar School Reunion attendees will receive a discount on accommodation - please quote tgs100813 if booking online or mention that you will be attending the Townsville Grammar reunion if booking over the phone.
The dinner includes hors d'oeuvres, main and dessert with tea and coffee for after the meal. Artist and Past Grammarian, Donna Gibb will be painting a scene of Townsville Grammar School during the evening. Guests are invited to contribute to the painting or sign their name on the back. At the end of the evening, the painting will be auctioned. Donna has painted at events with many leading sporting stars and identities including Jamie Durie, Jessica Mauboy, Kevin Rudd, Campbell Newman, Dawn Fraser, Gai Waterhouse, Mal Meninga, Ricky Ponting and the Australian Cricket Team, and has also painted live on television for shows such as Sunrise, the Today Show.
