Thu 14th September
Cooking@Grammar is an afternoon programme that provides students with the opportunity to join together with their peers in a hospitable manner, and at the same time enjoy creating and sharing foods and ideas.
The intent is to equip students with knowledge and life skills that they can use beyond school.
This activity is available to all day and boarding students at North Ward campus from years 7 to 12, and the programme runs one afternoon per week from 3.30 to 5.00pm.
Sessions are run by our experienced staff and focus on hygiene and knife skills, using a variety of cooking techniques, and introducing new and innovative ingredients and flavours.
A $4.00 fee per session applies to cover the cost of ingredients and students take home with them their weekly creations. Students are encouraged to sign on via morning notices at the commencement of each term, and the first 20 students will be accepted as spaces are limited.
