Thu 23rd May
Townsville Grammar School is celebrating 100 days of learning at its newest campus (North Shore) on Monday 24th July.
To mark the occasion, the School is celebrating all things 100, with the children and staff dressing up as wise and knowledgeable ‘100 year olds’ and students participating in tasks with a focus on 100.
The morning will commence with 100 themed activities followed by a celebratory cake with – of course - 100 candles.
“Students at the North Shore campus have enjoyed brand new classrooms this year and our numbers continue to grow. I look forward to sharing in this celebration of 100 days of wisdom, and look forward to our children dressing as wise old women and men. Apparently grey hair and wise faces will be everywhere, so I look forward to being part of this!” – Richard Fairley, School Principal.
“In a School with a 129 year history, milestones are important – the small ones no less than the big ones: 100 days of North Shore, 20 years of Annandale campus and 129 years of Townsville Grammar School. We have so much for which we can be grateful.”
