Laura Hassler, the Founder and Director of Musicians without Borders, is paying a special visit to Townsville Grammar School, today.
Musicians without Borders is a charity based in the Netherlands. It aims to use the power of music to bridge divides, connect communities, and heal the wounds of war. Laura Hassler founded the charity in 1999. Through concert donations, Townsville Grammar School Music has been supporting this international charity for the last ten years.
Whilst in Townsville, Ms Hassler will meet with Townsville Grammar School Music staff and students, in particular to thank the staff and students and Head of Music, Mr Samuel Blanch for Grammar’s ongoing support of her very worthy charity.
In addition, Ms Hassler, will also present seminars to students of Music, International Baccalaureate and the Year 7 cohort.
