Thu 23rd May
While a majority of the School is preparing for a well deserved break from class work, over 100 Townsville Grammar School students are experiencing outdoor learning through amazing travel experiences.
The students will travel to several different destinations including to New Zealand, France, Belgium, United Kingdom and Melbourne for a broad range of different sporting and cultural activities.
School Principal Mr. Richard Fairley said, “As a School we are delighted to be able to facilitate these travel opportunities for these groups of students. Not only will they learn a great deal for themselves, but they will also bring back with them a wealth of experience to be able to share with the whole School community.”
- UK Rugby and Netball Tour
Our Senior Rugby and Netball teams are travelling to France, Belgium and the United Kingdom for their sporting and cultural tour. They will test their skills internationally, playing a variety of schools whilst no doubt meeting new friends and exploring some of the sights Europe has to offer. Students have been hard at work training and preparing for their big trip. We wish them all the best of luck. Bon voyage!
