Instrumental Music
The Instrumental Music Program at TGS offers students the opportunity to learn a wide range of instruments and voice through individual or small-group lessons delivered by specialist tutors. Lessons are held during school hours on a rotating timetable, and students are encouraged to join School Ensembles as they develop their skills. The program operates across all three campuses and includes regular performance opportunities such as Soirees, Recitals and School events. Families can choose from a wide variety of instruments, voice and theory tuition, with fees charged each semester.
INDIVIDUAL SPECIALIST LESSONS ARE AVAILABLE IN:
Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Classical Guitar
Piano: Classical, Modern
Voice: Classical, Modern, Musical Theatre
Woodwind: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone, Recorder
Brass: Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Euphonium, Tuba
Percussion: Drum Kit, Orchestral Percussion
