Interschool Block Sport
What is Block Sport? Students form teams in sports offered for their age group, within that term. Each team competes against other schools in Townsville over a 5-6-week period, one afternoon a week. Block Sport is generally conducted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school hours on a home and away basis, or at a central location. Townsville Grammar School enters teams into these competitions when a teacher is available to coach and ample students are committed to participate. Transport is provided for students playing at venues outside the School and will depart from Gate 3 Paxton street at 3:30pm and return to the School after the last game, roughly 5:30pm
