Camps & Tours

Camps and tours are vital part of the Pastoral Care program from Junior School through to Senior School. Aside from being fun social opportunities, camps and tours work to develop:

  • Independence
  • Responsibility and accountability
  • Social skills
  • Teamwork and leadership
  • Organisational skills
  • Physical skills
  • Emotional skills 
  • A broadened awareness of the world and the environment

Junior School Camps & Tours
  • Year 3 - Reef HQ visit and School sleepover
  • Year 4 - Camp to Virginia Park Cattle Station (2 days/1 night)
  • Year 5 - Leadership Camp at Magnetic Island
  • Year 6 - Adventure Camp at High Range
  • Year 6 Sports Tour to Cairns
Secondary School Camps & Tours

Students in Years 7-12 are involved in camps, leadership conferences and other programs during Activities Week, generally scheduled in the last week of Term 1.

  • Years 7 -9 Camps (various locations) 
  • Year 10 Work Experience
  • Year 11 Leadership Conference
  • Year 12 Positive Purpose Week

In addition, each year a range of optional tours are available to students in sports, the arts, languages, enrichment and general education. Not all tours are offered each year.

  • Year 7 Melbourne Tour
  • NZ Skiing Tour
  • Sports Tours – Rugby, Netball, Rowing + other
  • Melbourne Literature Tour
  • STEM Tour (Singapore)
  • Drama Tour (UK)
  • Japan Tour
  • Music Tours (national and international)
  • World Challenge (Nepal)
